The ANSWER consortium is pleased to be cooperating with FOCUS K3D, an EC Framework 7 Coordination Action that aims to promote the adoption of best-practices for the use of semantics in 3D content modelling and processing.
	The FOCUS K3D Gaming and Simulation AWG brings together interdisciplinary researchers and industries to identify the needs of the users concerning both geometry and semantics, and the benefits deriving from the dissemination, re-use, and preservation of 3D models, software, ontologies and metadata.
	i3DPost will develop new methods and intelligent technologies for the extraction of structured 3D content models from video, at a level of quality suitable for use in digital cinema and interactive games. Like ANSWER, i3DPost is supported by the EC Framework 7 ICT Programme.
	MUPPITS (Multiple User Post-Production IT Services) brings together key players in the UK post-production value-chain to investigate, develop and demonstrate a new service oriented approach to film and broadcast post-production that will catalyse collaborative working and enable new business models. The MUPPITS consortium includes ANSWER partner IT Innovation.
	SALERO aims at making cross media-production for games, movies and broadcast faster, better and cheaper by combining computer graphics, language technology, semantic web technologies as well as content based search and retrieval.
	The TA2 (Together Anywhere, Together Anytime) project is working on ontologies for films and video conferencing as part of its investigation of how can technology help nurture relationships between households.
